Well, I've started three new projects. Well sort of. I'm making socks for my minister and his wife as a going away gift. Because of this, my sister's socks have to go to sleep for a while. Mostly because I need the needles.
So I'll start with hers and then do his. But first I need to split the yarn in half. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I can't fined my food scale. I think my husband stole it. Which annoys me because I want to get started now! And I can't because I do both socks at the same time, meaning I need two balls of yarn.
The other project is more of a re-work. I've been working on a swish-cheese scarf, but I'm not overly happy with it. I've found another pattern, very similar but I think it's more elegant. Not as easy to knit though. I'm going to have to take it slow. I'm not going to frog the work I've done on the other scarf (it's on another ball of the same yarn and on different size needles, so it's not going to be a problem.) So I'll just going to work on the new one and make sure I like it before I rip up the old one. I may even get a second or third opinion. Who knows.
But for now, my main attention will be on my socks. As soon as I can find the scale.
